The School of Communication And Arts is pleased to announce the publication of a new edited book, Beyond the Cities: The dynamics of migrant settlement in regional Australia, co-authored by Dr. Aparna Hebbani.
Given Dr. Hebbani’s expertise over two decades examining refugee/migrant settlement challenges in Australia, the concept of this book emerged out of discussions with past research collaborator from Western Sydney University, Dr. Ataus Samad. The uniqueness of this book lies in how it unpacks the complexities, and intricacies of various aspects of successful migrant regional settlement, through 20 chapters written by experts from various disciplines and industries.
