Information for Visiting Academic Enquiries
For overseas academics applying to undertake a visiting academic position at the School of Communication and Arts, please complete this Expression of Interest and submit the completed form with your Curriculum Vitae (including a list of your publications) to research.commarts@uq.edu.au. Your EOI will be vetted by the research visitor coordinator and sent to the proposed UQ supervisor.
Please note, the School of Communication and Arts is not able to contribute to any funding for visiting academics. Visiting academics are expected to arrange their own funding.
To be eligible, international applicants required a visiting academic visa must hold a PhD and have a minimum of one years’ post-doctoral experience.
School of Communication and Arts Visiting Fellowships
The School of Communication and Arts supports four endowed visiting Fellowships/Professorships. Only current academic staff at the School can nominate candidates for these Fellowships/Professorships. Selection of candidates are conducted by the School of Communication and Arts Research Committee.
Daphne Mayo Visiting Fellowship
Annual fellowship in Visual Culture.
George Watson Visiting Fellowship
Biennial fellowship in any field within the School.
Lloyd Davis Memorial Fellowship
Annual fellowship in Shakespeare studies in memory of Associate Professor Lloyd Davis.
S.W. Brooks Visiting Fellowship
Annual Visiting Fellowship in English Literature.
