About HDR Placements
The University of Queensland’s HDR Industry Placement Program (for students who commenced after January 1 2022) facilitates industry experiences for HDR students. For students who commenced prior to January 2022, you will follow the Graduate School’s Career Development Framework (CDF). Placements allow you to experience current practices in your field and to develop useful career networks while demonstrating and strengthening your transferable, professional, and research skills. Opportunities for HDR Placements can come from industry, government, or non-government organisations. A placement experience can enhance your career options, helping you to develop your skills in planning, strategy, communication, and leadership.
