Employability

The School of Communication and Arts prides itself on teaching the critical, creative, and practical skills that will be vital to the workplaces of the future. Our graduates go on to organise and curate art exhibitions, take up careers in corporate communication or trade publishing, produce journalism that makes sense of world events, and write creative works that are published all over the world. Our programs are diverse, but all aim to embed opportunities for students to apply what they learn in a real-world context: through internships, industry projects, and performances. As a School we are committed to supporting our students in pursuing work that allows them to shine. On this page you will find stories of how students have found their feet in industry and how their studies helped them.

We've also compiled a list of resources and training opportunities.

If there are other things we can do to help, let us know. Email: SCAemployability@uq.edu.au
