UQ Drama invites you to HOOKED
Hooked directed by UQ Drama Senior Lecturer and Queensland Shakespeare Ensemble Artistic Director Rob Pensalfini, uses Forum Theatre to explore the Culture of Addiction. Specifically addressing themes of gambling, body image and technology/malicious intent with subtexts of bullying, alienation and isolation.

While these addictions may be acceptable in small cases, what happens if they are taken to the extreme?

In Forum Theatre, audience members do not have to remain passive recipients, but are given the opportunity to step into the action and try alternative strategies to get a different result. It's a theatrical brainstorm.
