The School of English Media Studies and Art History invites you to meet Stefan Lingren. Stefan is a research engineer at the Humanities Laboratory at Lund University and in charge of the Digital Humanities network within the global university network Universitas 21 (U21). 

This talk will provide a historical background of his lab, describe its original purpose and provide an overview of some of the different projects that are being undertaken today. Then he will show some of the projects he has been working on. The third part of the talk will reflect on his work at UQ between 11-15 November to develop an app that will capture and enable to access to Indigenous artworks in the Great Court as part of UQ’s Courting Blakness installation to be curated by Adjunct Professor Fiona Foley in September 8-22 2014.
