The Secrets of Sourcing with Stephen Stockwell, Triple J's Hack Reporter

From rural cattle droving to Queensland’s new lockout laws, Stoner Sloth, and minerals exploration, there seems to be no story that Stephen Stockwell can’t cover.

With a career that began in community radio, to where he currently resides on ABC Triple J’s current affairs program Hack, Stockie has a knack for uncovering interesting sources.

In this talk he will share his tips for finding the most interesting stories of the day and how best to manage sources.

This informal presentation is open to all UQ Journalism and Communication students and will involve Q&A style interaction so please come prepared with any questions you have relating to sourcing.
