The University of Queensland’s UNESCO’s 2010 World Press Freedom Day official website is up and running at www.wpfd2010.org

As well as being a handy information resource for our conference guests, the site carries a range of links to international organisations that support media freedom and freedom of information http://www.wpfd2010.org/links

“Our new  World Press Freedom Day (WPF Day) conference website is multi-purpose – it’s designed to keep our global audience up to date with planning for this important media event, and it’s full of information for our guests and delegates,” said the conference Convenor, Associate Professor Martin Hadlow.

“For instance, on this web-site you will find information on how to register for the conference, details of the conference agenda, how to contact us with your queries, where to stay when you come to Brisbane and tourist information for those who might wish to combine a holiday in Australia with their visit to Brisbane for the conference.

Guests can register by clicking through to http://www.wpfd2010.org/registration  and the regularly-updated WPFD 2010 conference program is on the site at http://www.wpfd2010.org/program
