12 November 2024

Public Relations students from The University of Queensland (UQ) have been recognised as the best of the best in Australia following a prestigious national PR competition.

Organised by Communication and Public Relations Australia (CPRA), the leading industry body for PR professionals, the awards saw four UQ students—Abby Dalziel, Kacy Miaco, Anisha Singh, and Ruby Whayman—take home the Highly Commendable Award in the national competition.

The students, who formed the AARK Agency, were honored for their outstanding campaign pitch for Kidsafe Australia, a national NGO focused on child safety. Their work was evaluated by a panel of industry experts, including CPRA representatives and ABC's Siobhan McGeown.
