Writing so fresh! National Reconciliation Week 2022

About this event

Come along to readings of works-in-progress from Ellen van Neerven and published writing so new the ink is still drying from Mykaela Saunders.

Stepping out from behind the desk, Associate Dean of UQ HASS Indigenous Engagement Sandra Phillips will also read from some new literary journalism.

UQ Head of School for Communication and Arts and Chair of UQP, Bronwyn Lea will host the readings.

Meet us at the UQ Art Museum on Tuesday 31 May 2-3pm.

UQP publications by the authors will be available for sale at the event.

Enjoy refreshments with us and take some time to stop by upstairs in the Alumni Friends of UQ Collection Studies Room, where UQ Art Museum invites you to meet important Collection artworks by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists.

This event is a contribution to the National Reconciliation Week celebration of the 2022 theme: Be Brave. Make Change.
