The School of Communication and Arts and together with the School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering have continued their innovative cross-disciplinary teaching initiative in digital journalism.
Students enrolled in journalism design, and social and mobile computing have worked on semester-long group-based projects resulting in a range of innovative and exciting digital journalism applications and experiences.
The projects have made use of virtual reality, social media, gaming, mobile technology, and physical computing.
Students have blended these technologies with contemporary journalism practice to enhance the production, dissemination and consumption of news.
You are invited to an interactive exhibition of these projects at a showcase hosted by the School of Communication and Arts and the School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering.
The exhibition will be followed by light refreshments.
