Wepapalooza: Writing, Editing and Publishing
About Wepapalooza: Writing, Editing and Publishing
About this event
After a year of amazing creative and professional success for the Writing, Editing and Publishing (WEP) postgraduate students, it’s time to celebrate. We’re kicking off the long weekend early: from 5pm on Thursday 28 October, it’s Wepapalooza!
The event, open to all WEP students and undergraduates considering WEP study, will celebrate the Weppies’ creative work over the year, including the launch of the latest book from student-led Corella Press, From Shadow Land and Other Ghost Stories.
We’ll also be launching the Crackle Anthology of Creative Writing from students past and present, and naming the 2021 recipient of the UQP Writing Mentorship.
It will be a relaxed environment with canapes and refreshments for students to network with each other and publishing industry professionals.
Date: Thursday 28 October 2021
Time: 5--6.45pm
Venue: Global Change Institute
