The SCA hosted 43 Indigenous high school students on Thursday, 22 January, as part of InspireU, UQ's program connecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students with university study and career pathways.
Working in the DLS TV studio, students in groups designed and pitched their own media organisations under lights and cameras. The session was led by Richard Murray, with Anne Kruger, Levi Obijiofor, and Lujain Shafeeq. MaPS team members Rose Richani and Alynna Wong facilitated the session, which included hands-on experience in the studio and a tour of facilities.
