Honours - How to apply
Please note that mid-year entry is NOT available and applications will only be considered for Semester One entry.

For Semester One, 2027 entry; the following dates apply:
- Honours Information Session: Friday, 25th September 2026 - 2pm - 3pm (Brisbane Time) - 07-222 (Parnell Building, Learning Theatre).
- Expressions of Interest due: Friday, 20th November 2026
- Applications due (dates to be confirmed for 2026):
- Domestic Students - January 31 of the year of commencement (2027)
- International Students - November 30 of the previous year (2026)
Important Information
- Please note applicants are required to submit both the expression of interest and formal UQ application. We encourage you to submit both application at the same time and by the EOI due date.
1. Attend the information session
We strongly recommend you attend the Honours information session as this will provide information on the thesis proposal and application process.
This session includes advice from the Honours Director, administration staff, and current and past Honours students.
