Michael Eaton is an award-winning writer working in film, TV, theatre and radio who has recently been appointed Adjunct Professor in the School of Communication and Arts. He would wish to introduce himself by giving an informal talk, ‘Adaptation, Narrative and Rites of Passage’, in which he will present his reflections on the process of adaptation into a dramatic medium and how anthropological study of ritual has influenced his own approach to narrative structure.
